Still use the onboard gpu, untill you can afford a 5770, but also consider getting a GTX460 for the little £££ more, its a much faster card.

yea low budget at the moment as i dont have to much money at teh moment but im being forced to up grade as my graphics card died on me last night

but want to know what you tink of what im looking at as well

Bit of a dead end now, been replaced by socket 1155 stuff.

Dont like OCZ ram, especially if its the "GOLD" stuff, to many reports of failed ram sticks.

Dont get a psu without a known brand, you said "midrange"?

Did you need a case/harddrive/optical drive?

ok thanks for that well i have powersupply form my old one cant remember make and have hdd and cd drive so thats ok

so you only need three parts, motherboard/cpu/ram, giving you a better choice of bits for the £££:D

Just make sure your psu is a good'un, and that your harddrive is a ok 7200rpm one? be a shame to criple your pc with a 5400rpm or just a really old/slow drive, try to find out some makes and model numbers.

well im wanting intel over amd

do you want to overclock? what is the max budget?

to much im looking to spend £300 but thats to include the at5770 which is £101 on ****** so around £200 for the three parts i need that why i was looking at 1156 as the cpu can be upgraded to i5 or i7 in time when i get more money

Interesting budget, requirements and Q+A from you!!

so if you removed the 5770 for now, and got it later on, bang on £300

yea that basicly it nearly same as what i had been looking at and dont want 775 as that getting old now as well but what is that spec like is it good for gaming at low-mid level

so you would say its good from gaming then? also i wasnt sure on what the number mean on newer nvida cards thats why i was with ati as i know that the higher the number in the serise like the 770 part means its better and how much is the gtx460
