Either save money with a Tri core 450 CPU, or put a real PhenomII X4 in it like a 955BE at £89.99

The PhenomII X4 840 is actually a AthlonII X4 in disguise, it could be considered a 650 model if such a thing existed.

for about £100 u could get an AMD Fusion or an Atom Ion
both of which are capable for media centers

some of them are also passive, so would make a much quieter system

also wont have any trouble fitting it into any small case of your choise
