Looking for new PC, was receiving help previously on here but still havent ordered pc. So many different websites, different offers and prices its hard to get down to it and actually order.

Im thinking about something like this:

Coolermaster HAF-X Full Tower Gaming Case
750-850W PSU ?
Intel 2600k Processor
8GB 1600Mhz Memory Ram. 1600Mhz or faster?
Intel Z68 or P67 Motherboard ?
1TB SATA III HardDrive
30GB SATA III SSD
BluRay Drive
CPU Cooler (Thermal Paste?)
Graphics Card.. GTX570?
Windows 7 Home Premium

How cheap could I get this for?

1. memory ram, is it best to get 1600mhz or should i get faster ones? will my mobo support faster?

1600mhz is all thats needed, memory speed and timings make little difference to sandybridge performance.

2. motherboard, z68 or p67? i was originally recommended the asus z68 mobo which is really nice looking but costs £130. is it really that good or would a cheaper z68 mobo be just as good? or which mobo should i get.

Thats a Z68 above with all the trimmings (SSD caching/Lucid Virtu and Quicksync), it and the PSU that come with the case bundle are only good for a singe graphics card.

3. psu. not sure what wattage id need for this system?

The one that comes with the case although not great, is hard to beat at that price, SLI GTX570 needs good (XFX/Corsair/Antec) 750W+PSU, the Coolermaster GX 750W will be OK for a single setup.

what will this pc be used for, if mainly gaming then most people will suggest a i5 2500k/8GB(normally 4GB but the prices are so low atm)/P67.
SSD - you'd want atleast 60GB of space
GPU - either a 6950 2GB or GTX 570
HDD - get the samsung F3 1TB

yes mainly gaming

3 questions:

Oh yeah thank you

I dont like the sound of the PSU then, Id rather know I have a decent one for a little extra and change the case for a little cheaper one aslong as its as good.

Do you know of any cases and PSU's you could recommend then please?

I can relate, I went through a torturous time before buying a computer. Now I am thinking of buying a laptop, looks like I will have to get some advice from the experts here. :P

Did you want SLI/Crossfire as an option?

Theres nothing wrong with the HafX, the fact you can get back around £50-60 by selling the Coolermaster PSU only makes it better, you have members market access?

I like the case. Does it provide good cooling? The room in which the system will be stored if constantly warm so good cooling is required

All three cases mentioned are brilliant, the silverstone even has all the parts rotated so the cards are facing upwards.
