NEW PC

Hi Guys, I've recently just purchased a new PC in my Signature.

My 3D mark score is as follows - http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/7297664

Does this seem like a normal score to you?

None of my CPU cores went to 100 percent which is quite strange considering the maximum temperature was 55 degrees.

The reason why I ask is because I'm having massive troubles with CS:GO I can't seem to sustain 300FPS however this is only after the reformat I was getting 300/600. Now I can't even sustain 200 FPS which is really strange any ideas? I've tried all of the drivers also

Probably better posting in the Graphics Card sub-forum. Maybe a passing mod will move it.

I'd try Fire Strike Extreme for that setup, bog standard firestrike is probably not enough to tax it that hard.

Well my PC isn't running at full potential seems like software issue has this didn't happen before reinstall

Maybe your CPU cores are parking? Try and unpark them and see if this makes a difference to your FPS. There's a software utility that does this, try searching the forums because I'm pretty sure it has been mentioned here before.

GPU usage sometimes go high and enables the higher frame but most of the time it's doing this?

This sounds interesting. I would like to know more. I have had the odd dodgy score on benchmarks, could be because of this.

Found the problem, windows 8.1 on Balanced not high performance.

interesting that the power options caused you problems, that is something I would not have thought of trying.
