Hey, just made a ''new pc'' with my old parts :p that I had, I did a fresh install of windows but now when I'm trying to install the Nvidia drivers i get error that says

This NVIDIA graphics driver is not compatible with this version of Windows.
and
This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware.

On device manger the GPU is not showing.
The graphic card is a EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB and the motherboard is z97 gaming 3 and I'm using a
Corsair VS450. I've tried DDU but that didn't help.
Cheers.

If it's not showing up in device manager then you won't be able to install any drivers.

Go into the bios and set primary graphics display to pci express

Have you connected the power cables to the gpu

Reseating the card in the pcie slot is also worth trying. If it’s not all the way in it might produce the symptoms you describe.

Set it as primary graphics and still nothing, and I've connected the power cables to the GPU, and still nothing unfortunately.

Just to make it clear since I haven't added it to the first post: The monitor doesn't pick up any image if the cable is connected to the GPU and it only works if its connected to the motherboard onboard graphic slots, also the fans spin at the initial power up of the PC and after they stop.

Tried that already and it didn't help :(, my only bet is that there is something wrong with the motherboard since I tried the GPU on my other PC and it works just fine.
