New PCS+290 Arrived today plus some benchmarks

Dont get me wrong the lightning is capable of benching at 1200mhz+ and +200mv no probs, but 1200mhz core for 24/7 gaming is unrealistic with my chip as it takes a massive increase in volts from 1150mhz. Where the cards do shine though is the mems and the cooling.

I will see what the max I can squeeze out of it for a benching run and post results.

my PCS+ 290 seems to be working fine. No black screens or anything. Tried a couple of games and all fine. (14.12 omega drivers)

Did the Heaven 4.0 bench and got a score of 1400 (everything at stock) which seems to be good/standard for the card dont really want to oc it or up voltages as it draws more power from psu (right?)

very pleased so far maximum temps under load is 62 degrees :D It is a hefty beast though ehh hehe

Yeh, sniffing the TV when the manual is on screen just ain't the same. :(
