So there's an insert to stop the soft tube collapsing and just apply compression to the outside? That's a disaster waiting to happen in the hands of first-timers.

That inserts MUST be used with soft tubing
Inserts are already available for petg
Yet surprisingly few people realise that
They are used because petg can deform at relatively
Low temperature
So the inserts stop deformation at the fittings
Tried to link the video

push-fit soft tubing with tube inserts was standard with all Swiftech gear more than 20 years ago.
Used to love swiftech stuff
Still got 3 of their AIO laying around
Quality components and standard fittings allowed
You to expand and add a gpu to them
They should have been more successful really
But vaguely remember asetek suing or threatening to sue
For patent infringement which probably didn't help them
Surprisingly they are still going though
Not seen any new stuff from them
But they are doing stuff under contract from EK I believe

Swiftech had a big problem with the Swiftech Apogee block (my thread from 2008 on OCUK here) and there was a class action lawsuit in the US but of course UK buyers got nothing. If you search for Swiftech Apogee corrosion my thread is the second hit on Google, which is nice.
Blocks changed massively around this time as the Cathar Whitewater came out and all manufacturers quickly stole his work and now all blocks are copies of his. Companies like Swiftech were very slow to adapt while others were even slower and simply became irrelevant.

There just pneumatic fittings that are used in industry good for about 8 bar thought about using them my self but they dont come in great colours mind you they can go from 3mm outer upwards
