Ok so i got a Samsuing Jet in Jan but i really want an Android phone but im stuck in a two year contract with 3. Anyone ever convinced them to replace the phone (at a charge) or would they not take the original back?

I think the only way you'll get that done is by paying an early termination fee, which is likely to be quite expensive :(

You could sell the Jet and put your money toward an unlocked version of the phone you want.

Either way you are going to end up quite a bit out of pocket :p

Sell your jet and buy an unlocked or equivalently locked network phone of your choosing. I'm afraid when you enter a contract you're on your own as far as changing handsets are concerned until its ended. If you don't like selling just go to a well known 3 letter store and exchange it.

Only thing I can say is you must have been nuts to enter a 2 year contract for Samsung Jet unless it was like £10pm.

Selling it on and buying another handset is your only option really, you'll probably get £80 - £100 for it but if you want a decent spec Android handset you'll have to put some cash to it.

Having said that the Samsung Portal or HTC Tattoo / Pulse can be had for not much more than what you'll get for the Samung.
