New Play Studio

Well been looking around for a space that I can learn studio lighting and found a office space that was pretty cheap, so then kitted it out with 2 x Bowens 400s & 2 Bowens 200s and lots of soft-boxes & umbrellas and a nice white vinyl back drop. Really looking forward to having a play with it all now the cold winter months are coming and will keep you posted with pictures etc.

What'd you use for the backdrop/where from? Looks good!

Its a 10ft x 20ft vinyl back drop on a roller and they cost about £150 but i got mine on ebay for £79 and only used once

they are easy to keep clean as you just wipe off any marks.

Quick question I have a set of Bowen 500s that eat the modelling lamps for breakfast do you have this trouble with the 400s ? I estimate the bulbs are only lasting around 24 hours of use.

- I remember looking at bowens a couple of years ago and seeing how much they were, its really shocking what you can get for your money these days, makes setting up far easier

That was second hand price and I got a very cheap deal if I'd purchased new it would set you back getting on for nearly 2.2k :eek:
