The ankle bone is fractured, the anterior talofibular is snapped, and the calcaneofibular ligament is torn. I have been on crutches for 6 weeks now .

I feel your pain mate (6 weeks in total on crutches here and another 2 to go before i go back to hospital )

Oh dude, that looks terrible. It's awful just how restrictive crutches are isn't it? I've broken my wrist in the past and its nothing in comparison. Ok some things are bloody awkward, but this....

Yeah ive done a wrist many times in the past and its nothing compated to the leg/ankle break.

The worst thing is it happened a week before me and the misses where set to fly to thailand for a rather elaborate holiday.

Ah well we live and learn.
