I don't dislike the shape I am now, it doesn't really bother me, however being in shape would be nice, but finding the time and motivation is what I struggle with.

There's an obvious correlation between the ugly, insecure guys and the number of critical/meanspirited posts they make. Anyone that is comfortable with their own appearance isn't going to sit around sniping strangers on the Internet for fun. It's that simple

Have I been unkind to anyone? I'm not making personal comments about anyone's pictures, in a personally directed way. Just saying that, generally, when you get meanspirited and nasty blokes on the Internet - especially of the Reddit misogynist brand - they are typically unattractive and/or sexually inept in real life. Isn't that where all that ire and the urge to be mean comes from? Inadequacy? Envy? Hardly Psychoanalysis #101 is it?

What difference does it make whether you insult someone about their looks or their hobbies? It's got nothing to do with you or anyone else. I agree there's no need for some of the comments especially about someone who isn't even a member but likewise there's no need for what you've said. A bit of banter is part of this thread however, it doesn't take much reading to realise that.

And really i think you're reading into it far too much.

I would not class saying Runescape is a time-wasting activity in the same league of 'insult' (and if you are actually personally insulted by that sort of comment, you should probably take a step back from the keyboard and take a look at yourself) - as making personally derogatory comments based on someone's actual appearance. One is a form of victimisation and bullying, the other is 'insulting' to players of a game via a second or third degree of implication. Not even the same thing.
