I have a fat head :)

So it was my oldest daughters high-school leavers prom tonight and I was press-ganged into a suit for photos before the event; I actually chose the dress she wore myself, not bad for an old guy so I was told.

I really don't understand why you continue to post pictures of your fit daughter.

Please don't stop though.

I was going to make a highly inappropriate comment, then I thought better of it, as he's not in the military, and probably wouldn't see the joke as at all funny or appropriate.

But I do agree, I don't understand why you're posting loads of pictures of your daughter in a 'post a picture of yourself thread' lol.

In reply to,
He always gets this :p

She is 16, and he will kill any guy who comes near her, or so he had said (well, along those lines)

I was asked before,
Is your daughter not allowed a boyfriend? I've never understood that logic or position by the father. Yes, I accept the protective role and all that but refusing a teenage girl to partake in a common and normal practice seems mean at best.

I've never really discussed this before with anyone, so just wondering views rather than criticising. My post above was entirely in jest!

She is allowed!; can't really expect her to get along with me so well if I tried to rule her life, im her dad but we are best friends too. Her friends think im great, the boys she has dated got along with me its all good but they also know im serious if I have to be protective. Ive not had to be protective yet though as she has common sense and that go's a long way, really proud of her she's great.

Oh right, that's not how you first came across. You came across like you'd go after anyone if they dared look at your daughter in a way you deemed inappropriate let alone try and touch her.

Appreciate your view now though.
