New Power Supply?

I'm pulling together parts for a new build, which is looking like:
4090
13XXX (Not sure on i7/i9) yet
Not water cooled.

I have an XFX Pro 1000W power supply, which on paper being a 1000w should be ok. But it's now 10 years old. Is it time to replace it (albeit it works fine) or will it suffice for a few years yet on a new build?

Thoughts appreciated?

XFX PSU's were rebadged Seasonics, which were the best at the time & one of the best now. PSU's do degrade over time, so it's gong to be hard to say whether it should be replaced. Give it a go, if there any stability problems then buy a now one.
I didn't know that. That's a bit of a positive result.

I was leaning to the plan of keeping then upgrading to a ATX3.0 when more is available. Thanks for the input.

So slight update. I can't find any of the spare original cables, which isn't suprising as I've not needed them for all these years.

The PSU has 12pin slots, that came with 12pin to 2 x 8pin PCIE. The challenge now is getting cables for them.

I've been looking to see options for a new PSU, but it appears stock availability now is limited and not sure which way to go. I don't really want to dump £300+ on an ATX supply, versus a new ATX 3.0 albeit availability is the problem on the 3.0's.

It's never easy.
