New Prebuild from OCuk

Just because it's the same design doesn't mean it'll perform the same. The Gelid is fitted how cooler should be, ie. with a back plate rather than push pins. The fan is better. Check out some reviews of it, performs well above it's modest price tag.

..tempted to spend a little more and get the Corsair H60 - worth it?

Nope. If you want a closed loop water cooling unit then get the Antec Kuhler 620.

Thank you for the feedback, I will take your advice and plunge for either a Gelid or Antec.

Thanks for all the help guys, I've decided to settle for the Antec Kuhler H2O 620 Liquid Cooling and improving the case airflow which will hopefully make my system nice and cool!

if something is broke / faulty and u have the know-how to identify it and to just send back the broken part (cooler) im sure ocuk would have refunded the differnce and let u pick a better one if u choosed to do so

ocuk even cover the pickup and return costs during the 12 months , take advantage of it

I always wonder why a company that has such an excellent service here on the forums etc, can have such horrendous first line customer service...

Because your not allowed to talk about the bad stuff.

And the Twin Towers were *Actually* brought down by Disney/Illuminati/Global Elite/Lidl/(Insert obscure secret society name here), *Actually*...

Of course, unreasonable rants over situations that can be quickly and simply resolved, provided the plaintiff isn't demanding outrageous "compensayshun" should be removed, but I've read plenty of valid complaints on here, usually resolved pretty fairly and efficiently.

It's one of the reasons I keep using OCUK - but occasionally you have to be assertive to get what's right...

If something breaks in transit send it back!

No point spending more money putting something right that OCs messed up (well.. the delivery co.)

Isnt this something to do with the Nvidia driver? I get this problem with my GPU whereby the screen goes black and then i get a message saying nvidia has crashed or something.

Yes the wow crashing issue is, which seems to be better when I run on 'reccomended' settings.

Only game that does it TBH.

Phoned Ocuk today, the guy on the phone told me 45-50 on idle is fine!?! I stressed that I get over 95 on prime he agreed that's a bit too high but said as I got air cooling that's what I should expect with an over-clock. Not best pleased with what I was told TBH.

OCUK CS in a nutshell, nicest guys ever on the forums but the people on the phones can be horrific.

It cost me £17 to phone them twice (I don't own a landline and they deliberately engage their 01 numbers) one time after being on hold for 8mins I heard "OH sh*inaudable* I answered it!" *click*

When I finally got through (was complaining about Raven damaged in transit) I was told there is nothing they can do, but if I was more than happy to I could have a SECOND case charged to my account, have it dropped off and the faulty one picked up, wait upto 7 days for refund approval, then upto another 7 for card refund to process (I got my refund approved on the 7th day). I bought elsewhere.

When I had a DOA GTX560ti with a competitor (think of a suns end of life) they shipped me a new card, took the faulty one away and processed the refund/new card on their end at no cost to me (the only reason I started shopping with OCUK was free shipping, which is now DX Secure, so I don't bother) But the Raven palava tipped me over the edge.

Know what I got on the CS forums for my gripe? "Sorry." Literally that.
