new primo predator not booting

My company recently bought 5 primo predator, budget prebuilt PCs from overclockers.

On arrival one of them would not boot up. It was plugged into a monitor but the screen just remained black. Also no lights were seen on the keyboard.

After trying another monitor and restartig and checking the RAM was eated properly we decided to send it back.

Of the other 4, they all booted ok on first inspection. However when I returned to them after xmas to set them up on the company network, another of the PCs would not boot, with exactly the same problems as the first non-working PC. No image on monitor, no post screen, no lights on keyboard.

I am wondering if I am doing something wrong, or if there is an issue with primo predators.

We need to buy some more PCs and this is making me think that I should not buy more primo predators.

Anybody had experience with this system? or know what might be going on?

I've heard nothing but good things about them.

Maybe someone didnt handle them with enough care through shipping and un-seated something?

Well we sent them back on Monday, and they have been repaired, and should arrive back here tomorrow.

One was a hardware failure, another was incorrectly setup according to the return sheets.

This is not filling me full of confidence in the PCs I just bought. I used overclockers as I felt they were reputable and good value, and they do not come with all the nonsense that other companies like Dell tend to install on their new machines.

But 2 failures out of 5 is pretty poor and perhaps more than unlucky. Looks like some poor sods in the office will end up on Dells or similar now.

To restore a bit of faith in these machines for you we have only ever had 8 returns relating to the Predator since we started offering it mid last year. 2 of these are from yourself so that leaves 6 other.

None were returned unwanted and all have had repairs done on them, of which we have had 0% repeat returns for further faults on these machines. 4 out of the 8 returns in total have potential courrier issues causing the trouble (component failure), other four are due to quality control on our part. 2 of these are due to us shipping Euro power leads instead of UK to a UK customer.

System is currently running at a below 1% return rate which makes it out most reliable system we have ever offered.

Thinks unfortunately do go wrong from time to time, we are all only human after all! I hope your experience getting the systems fixed and returned to you has been fine as it is how we fix the problems that makes the difference between being a faceless organisation and having real people at the end of the phone who care about the quality we output.
