**New Product Lian Li PC-A51WX Midi-Tower - Black Window**

It says 3x 2.5", do they mount behind the motherboard?

The Lian Li PC-A51 also features a new "versatile" HDD/SSD mounting system that allows system builders to install 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch drives on the individually removable hard drive bays. If these bays are removed, users can mount up to three 2.5-inch drives directly onto the tray, thus freeing up space and helping to increase the airflow. Another 2.5-inch drive can be mounted in the 30 mm (1.2-inch) space behind the motherboard tray.

I have been watching out for this ever since they asked for feedback but since then I went to SLI GTX680 and from a quick check I dont think it supports 2 cards of that length and a corsair ax860..

Hoping for a review or someones feedback before I would buy.

I wouldn't call it that overpriced, it's made all out of aluminum, produced in Taiwan, anodized in black and high quality.

there not really any more quality than the corsair cases that are a lot cheaper.

just different materials, I've got a lian li and I don't think the build quality is anything amazing unless you have a crap case to compare it with

That's a very good-looking case! Nice and reserved, but with space for some serious hardware and cooling, and a window to show it all off. Looking forward to seeing some Custom water loops in these.

The biggest problem is it is fundamentally flawed because of the PSU position which will block off the option of having two large cards in crossfire/sli.

Which is pretty silly.

this is interesting because the fans can be reversed, this means the front 140mm lines up with the cooler................. perfect

damn it...the psu cant vent....the pc sits on the carpet.....you total and utter b******

It's a tiny case, why would you want to put 2 large cards in it?

That's like buying a Micra and complaining your wardrobe doesn't fit in the boot.

Looks like a fantastic design to me, takes a full ATX board/large GPU in a tiny format.

Wish Lian Li would put the window on the inside of the case, think it looks so much neater, and also not to use screws, also ruins the sleek lines.

I contest, everyone else puts it on the inside so it's fresh to see a change.

However, can the user not move it themselves? the bolt goes through the window and case so surely as the head is bigger than the hole in the case the bolt can be undone then redone with the window internal?

Have had a few Lian cases and they are good but there are now some quality cases out there with the similar understated looks that do it just as well if not better for £40 less, this is offering nothing new and dosnt really justify the high price tag.
