** NEW PRODUCTS ARRIVED AT OcUK!! **

TL/DR
Issue #1: No email notification received upon new stock arriving
Issue #2: New stock is received but it takes time to be pushed to main site and risk item/s being bumped to main site without stock, also "Superflower braided" result on main site results in only 8Pack systems.

Please don't take this as a complaint, I'm also trying to help :)

Latest products is a great idea for pre-ordering but when I entered my email address and upon you receiving stock, I didn't receive a status update. Yes I checked spam folder.

Because I didn't receive an email I thought the SuperFlower braided cables weren't in stock even on Gibbo's link. Though when I checked the link again in OP showed they only appear there (unlisted as Gibbo explains) and not the main site.

However you can check this link where searching only shows 8Pack systems simply because they feature SuperFlower PSUs but why not the standalone PSUs?:

never seen it either and to be honest i dont browse the website ever anymore since the change in format, i used to go through all the deals every Wednesday and all the reduced section but i couldnt even tell you how to do it now

Website displays too much information on every page, makes it difficult to know where to look.

The old website looked outdated, but at least it was simple to navigate.

Hopefully in time it will improve :)

Same here. I'd always have the site open in a tab and checked the Today Only deals religiously.

It was the design and layout of the old website that originally attracted me to OcUK, the customer service that kept me coming back for more.

Fortunately the service is still excellent, even if the website was designed by someone who clearly does not understand that less is more.

I thought at first it was just change and that I'd get used to it in time, but I haven't and I find I check it rarely these days, usually only in response to a post on the forum.

I have to agree with this too.

To be fair, the style of the new design is indeed more updated and suits the image of a pioneer in the hardware specialist.

But the UX is no where near perfect as the older version.

Maybe they've got a new website designer but a UX specialist really needs to be working alongside the designer when they're changing the new layout.

Gents/ladies, I'll politely direct you towards one of these threads for general feedback on the new site :) I provided feedback here because it was specific to this thread's unlisted products URL. More like a heads up, and if for any chance it doesn't work as intended for you.

You can access New Products on the main site and other special offers. Note the blue "tabs" at the top under Overclockers UK logo, main ones are:

  • Offers (also called This Week Only)
  • New (this very thread for unlisted products, we've been using it for years)
  • Today Only (one item with a bigger discount, no limit to order quantities if you want more than one)
