The 360 pad is the closest to perfection I have seen in a pad.

Better than the Xbox S-controller? I hear the 360 pad is smaller which could be a problem for me with big hands, as the S-controller could ideally be a tad bigger for me :)

Having proper sized hands I find the 360 controller a bit too small.

Hmm :(

I don't understand why they felt the need to redesign the S-controller at all, there was nothing wrong with it that needed fixing really. I also hear the shoulder buttons can be accidentally pressed which sounds potentially irritating.

 I've got reasonably large hands, and I find no problems whatsover with the 360 controller.....

never heard about anyone pressing one of the shoulder buttons by accident.. I can't see what someone would be trying to do for them to accidentally press a shoulder button

The 360 pad is perfect IMO, and I've got pretty big hands. Accidentally pressing the triggers though seems very odd, certainly don’t think that would be a common issue, and to be fair there aren’t many games where you wouldn’t have your fingers hovering over them anyway.

They needed to develop the S pad because it needed the extra shoulder buttons.

best button placement = ps2 pad
most comfortable = gc pad
best design = n64 pad.. loved the z trigger

:D

i can see the sholder button issue, although i wouldnt say it gets pressed easily, maybe not easily enough, holding down right trigger, its not a natural move to hit the right bumper, so in racing games its a bit defunct, its useable but not great, and i suppose if it needs a lot of use, you do kinda have your finger closer to it so mmmmmaybe an accidental push, but not serious all the time.

I still want both analogue sticks moved up!
