What, the PS3 doesnt come with a remote even though its boasted as a "next gen movie player"

strange that it does not come with that and hdmi lead, at least mine didn't.

do MS still bundled the small remote with the 360?

did they ever?

It doesn't come with any HD cable unfortunatly (unless they've update the contents of the pack since I bought mine).

You get standard def composite cable with it.

You should be able to pick up a HDMI cable for around a fiver and it's easily the best connection to have the PS3 connected on.

Bought a package now for £280 with three games and bought a seperate remote. Really wanted a package to include the remote but could not find a bundle that I liked. They all included farcry2 or a wrestling game or lost season 1. I've also found a site thats sells ps3 games very cheap, so all is happy in my house

80gig PS3, remote, HDMI cable, 300 on Blue Ray, Little Big Planet and Prince of Persia.... £320

Are you guys getting the extra controllers with these?

Last Christmas I got my PS3 (only the 40GB version since I only needed compatibility with PS1 games it wasn't an issue). It came with 2 controllers, remote, HDMI cable, Spiderman 3 on Blu-ray, and Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction. I paid $500 (about £326) for it then, and the only difference a year later is that it's the 80GB version.
