Hello gents,

I have an old AMD Athlon X2 PC and recently the machine has needed reboots every few days due to issues that I thought were caused by a buggy Ubuntu install but now look like PSU to HDD issues.

The machine died completely last night so I swopped in a PSU from another machine of the exact same spec I have here.

Now turning the machine on and all I get is a BIOS version 1 screen that states that no keyboard or mouse can be detected, tries to boot from CD-ROM and fails, then fails to find any HDD's even though there are 2 HDD's for a dual windows/linux boot.

The previous BIOS version was 3.07.

I've re-seated the RAM and GPU and cleared CMOS,are there any other obvious things I've missed or can someone please point me in the right direction to get the machine functioning again?

Many thanks.
