New PSU time, Help Needed !!

Corsair over any PSU for quality and reliabilty
Although that new PSU on the market looks damn sexy.
So if your wanting to try somethign new go for that.
 
I ended up getting the Seasonic X-750 and gotta admit it is quality..

Completely silent... Not giving off any heat also.

And i am more than happy with the 5yr warranty Seasonic offer.

The PSU also seems better with regards to the modular side compared to my old Enermax Liberty and that was probs my best quality PSU i have ever owned and ive owned a good few.

Needless to say im very happy with my purchase and especially the price i cot if for :D

corsair earned the reputation they have from these PSU's
CX400W
VX450W
TX650W
HX450W
HX520W
HX620W
HX650W
SEASONIC made them all ;)

the higher watt corsairs are all made by CWT which is a company with a not so good reputation
 
I stand by my comment. My understanding is that the HX is an older model and that the seasonic X series is higher efficency, quieter and semi-passive AND cheaper. It's also modular.

I don't really like the look of any power supplies bar the Hiper 580 type R but then that one blows up.

yeah the seasonic got a really good review on Jonny Guru (650w version tho)

And after a good few comparisons between the two i chose the better :D

HX = Modulair
TX/VX = Non-Modulair

HX has just been renewed...

My HX850 is great btw, I'd go for that... or the 750 Seasonic, both very good.

Yeah thats what it boiled down to with me :D

The corsair is very good but the seasonic pipped it being fully modular, better efficiency and nicer to look at.
