New PSU Works But Does Display Picture On My Screen

Hello,

I just received my corsair 500w psu and put it into my machine i noticed my old psu that i took out had a p4 connector but my new one doesnt! the computer turns on but just doesnt display a picture on my monitor will i need to get a molex to p4 cable for this too work?

Yep that will work fine.
You will needs a 4-pin Molex to EPS12v adaptor

So the p4 connector is needed for it to work yeah? Also, im just wondering if the 500w psu will be enough to run my athlon ii x3 460 and n460gtx hawk?

I would say that's fine but it depends on other devices you have running too. Which model 500w PSU is it.

the psu is a Corsair CMPSU-500CXV2UK Builder Series CX500V2 - 80 Plus Certified Power Supply

daft question but if you've got a PCIE graphics card have you plugged the power cables/s into it?

yes everything is plugged in
