Also while not in games the Overall OS is a lot faster than Windows 7.
One thing I do disagree with Matt on is disabling the Metro start right away.
Dont do this try and enjoy it for what it is and understand how it work before removing it.

I like to think of it like the Start button on drugs :D it's superb being able to customize it to your liking etc
