New Ram now slower boot times, and cpu needing more volts?
Ok guys received my G.Skill pc3200 2x1gb Zx popped them in with great aticipation set the stock clocks of 2-3-2-5 and i couldn't even get to the windows loading screen, so had to reset cmos! managed to get my comp to boot to windows with now 1.4v going through my cpu and ram timings of 2-3-3-5 (as opposed to the 1.35 i was using with my old ram - OCZ pc3200 2x512mb VX gold) but on the windows loading screen it took a age to load the bar actually stopped at some points!
for reference i'm currently running my comp as follows :
cpu - 255fsb @ 1.4v
cpu multi - 11
ram - 166 divider (i had to drop this to 166 from 180 after the ram change)
ram timings - 2-3-3-5
mobo multi - x3
ram volts - 2.8v
anyone have a clue whats happend?
