With up to three times the cooling capacity of pre-built kits and using the latest water blocks to maintain our massive overclocks, the "Ultima Hydra" and "Ultima Poseidon" use the award-winning Corsair 800D chassis with a triple 120mm fan radiator from Thermochill for low operational noise and blistering performance.

These systems breaks into new territory with their low operational noise and blistering performance. Combining the Watercooled Corsair Obsidian 800D and the latest AMD Processors with the latest Radeon 5000 Series graphics card, this system were always going to be a recipe for success due to the proven stability and incredible features each product packs. These systems are some of the best performing Watercooled system we have ever offered, if you need a PC for intense performance under 24/7 usage look no further.

To show you how good these look, i will ensure the first system that goes through gets a full build log here as testament to how amazing these look.

Best IMHO and most of our tech department lol.

It's just the CPU how ever by special request we could look to cool mote parts, how ever we need to consider how the system will ship as watercooling block are heavy and damage can occur.

All system come prefilled, blessed etc so it really is plug and play.

Phil

Yes and i completely agree, how ever we dont just have kit lying around to go building computers to take pics.

As i have said, the first one of these sold will get a build log.

Phil

Soon as one is ordered and the customer gives the permission to do it i will post it up.

If you want an idea of the tubing colour and etc, then look here.

Will be the simalet theme of colours, except a different case and not every block will be watercooled of course

Phil

Well, we have one 100% sold and i think SamelC will be taking the plunge too, after our chat on the phone.

I expect the build logs to commence in the next couple of days.

Im excited to get these systems started and up for you all to see the true build quality of our systems

Phil

Update: samuelc and now Hash70 are now the proud owners of our Hydra Systems. Hash70's will be built first and then samuelc later on next week as this is a bit more custom as he has specified several upgrades, although i wont give them away yet.

Both will be be built by rjkoneill, so i have no doubt they will look stunning.

Hi Jon

An oversight by no means, Spie is correct in saying we had a very busy day yesterday and i didn't get chance to put the full specification up.

Both systems now have their full specification on show under the "Full Specification" tab.

As you can see we use very high quality components to ensure a good quality build, we dont cut corners or try to push the price down with the cheapest parts we can find, we also use the best watercooling fluid on the market, to ensure heat transfer is optimal and in a worst case scenario situation where by a leak occurs the fluid is non conductive and wont short out the components.

These builds are premium builds and really will be show pieces when done.

The Watercooling Parts we use as standard are as follows:

Pump Laing DDC 1-T Pro 10W 12V DC Pump
Radiator Thermochill 120.3 with 3 x Sharkoon Silent Eagle 2000 120mm Fans
Reservoir XSPC Laing DDC Pump Top Reservoir
Tubing 2 x Masterkleer 7/16" Tubing UV White - 1m
Fittings Bits Power 3/8" to 7/16" Black Compression Fitting
Cooling Fluid Fluid XP+ Nano-Fluid Clear
CPU Waterblock Heatkiller CPU Waterblock Revision 3 (Socket LGA1366)

Thank you for the positive feedback, especially as it seems you know exactly what you talking about.

A lot of time and thought is put into what we sell and while we might not always be the cheapest i can guarantee you the quality of our systems and components in the builds we do is second to none.

Both builds how now gone as far as having the motherboard watercooled now so they aren't quite the standard specification as each customer wanted upgrades, that said... apart from that they are as per the original specification.

Phil

Hello there. Long time reader but finally got registered! Any updates on the builds from both people? Would like to see both as one seems to be a heavily modified system and one seems to be a stock system. Me and a friend are looking to purchase one but we would like to see the quality and reviews/benchmarks of both systems in particular the modified system (samuelc) as we would like to see how customized this rig can get... any ETA King Arthur?

Hi Smit

Both systems in the end were heavily modified its the unfortunate water cooling bug people get he he. They both spent more than they originally intended to.

I was going to wait for both systems to be finished before i posted images, but i do have images from one of the two systems. Just getting them hosting on the site now. The second system is waiting for parts from EK in Germany as the customer decided he wanted more modifications that what we specified originally, so that wont be up till after the weekend now.

Here are some finished pics of the systems Hash70 had.

Like everything, the pics simply dont do it justice.

Over and above the standard specification he had a full cover motherboard block and mosfet blocks. Also also went with the option upgrade of a black acetal blocks all round to keep the black and white theme.

Hash70 then went for 2 x 5870 graphics cards and a Corsair 850w PSU for better graphics.

"Samuelc" who has named his system Nocturnal will be equally as nice except he is water cooling the graphics card and having a different motherboard and reservoir system.

Hash70 - Nice system mate. Got a couple of people looking at the screen. Very neat and Tidy and a good colour scheme. for starters, I've noticed the ram is different to the default build spec as listed on the overclockers page. I'm guessing both customers must have changed it to go with the colour scheme. Could you confirm that this is the case?

Is it possible to have a build log as per the posts on Page 1? Would be very useful to see what the customers went for (provided they agreed of course) so perhaps we could go for a similar build like them? So we could start budgeting?

Also, in Hash70's build, may I ask why there's a blue lining around the corsair logo near the harddrives? I'm not quite sure what it is.

The build happened in a matter of hours and while i try to snap as much as i can i often cant stand down there all the time to make a full build log. That said i will try and take more photos when the next one comes through.

The memory was indeed changed by customer choice, but i have now changed the black memory to the default memory as you can see in the pictures.

The blue lining is simply a protective film and is removed by the end user when they receive it. The front of the case also has the same covering hence no photos as it looks awful until removed.

Watercooling the graphics card? Good to know that OCUK provides this service. Do you guys overclock samuelc's 5870?

Different Motherboard and Reservoir? Surely the default P6TD and reservoir would be more than enough for a 4.0-4.2ghz system? Personal preference I guess.

Just as a tech question - Does a watercooled overclocked 5870 1000/1300 perform maybe 60% of a crossfired 5870 setup?

Has anyone ordered a watercooled 5970 with this build out of curiosity? For EOC, I would most likely go with a 5970 if my budget permits.

Cheers,
smi

Water cooling the graphics card and motherboard voids the warranty with both us and the manufacturer. Both customers were advised of this before we went ahead and watercooled the respective parts. No graphics cards are overclocked and this is normally an end user task. Should a customer wish to pay us to do it we can do, but as we cant use profiles and as such it takes a lot of time we would need to charge for this service which the customer declined at the time.

The motherboard SamualC has chosen is the Asus Rampage II Extreme Intel X58 (Socket 1366) DDR3 Motherboard which will be fully watercooled and he has chosen a different reservoir which will be custom mounted on the case.

Both systems will be clocked at 4.00GHz but would probably do 4.2GHz+ should the end user wish to push them further.

Yes, SamualC has ordered a 5970 Black Edition which will be watercooled with a full cover block but wont be overclocked.

The corsair 800D is such a fantastic case to work with. The cable routing is very nice due to precut holes and perfect positioning of the radiator with hold for all the tubing to go through.

If i ever went back to water cooling I'd be using this case for sure.

Hi Paul

Thanks for kind comments, we do like doing custom work for customers but they are inherently more expensive as they simply take more time. I know the guys who build them enjoy a different build every now and then too he he.

We're doing more and more marketing each month which is nice.

We just need a few more customer with bespoke requirements to call us up and we can start doing more systems like the above.

People dont have to have white tubing etc they could have red, green, blue etc. Any colour scheme they want :)

Phil

Hi Guys,

Firstly thank you to Sam for such nice comments, all i can say "its a pleasure helping you achieve your dream system"

The estimated finished build time of the system is tomorrow afternoon. Sam is going to be collecting it on Saturday in person too.

Sam's system is currently being built as the last part has come in today, I have asked the builds manager rjkoneill to take lots of photos of his progress. I will also tomorrow ensure I take some more professional photos of the fully built system in my new photography tent :)
