I've always thought that a top gaming mouse should not be 'ambidextrous' - surely a mouse shaped to fit your (left or right) hand is better, and both a left handed version and right handed version should be available for an uber mouse? Still, looks very sleek (and a lot lighter than my mx1000!)

I just got the Typhoon Sure Shot and have to say its fantastic for £7 it even feels quality. I showed it to a friend and his first response was –

“Go on what’s the cost? £50? £60? well my £6 mouse does me fine…..”

Then I told him the price and he said your kidding!

The he ordered one on the spot!

Just watch for the Razor Mantis peed Mat – I got it for £10 and it took me aback a bit when I seen the size of it – its twice the size of normal mouse mats! I did look at the mouse above but its got no height to the palm rest if you get me…

Doesn't look as nice as my DeathAdder and, as above, I really can't see how the ambidextrous design is a positive thing. Stick with mine :)

Does anyone know when this is scheduled for release? I need a new mouse soon, might be worth a look :(

The Razer Salmosa comes with additional toggle switches on the bottom of the mouse that enable gamers to make 800/1800dpi and 125/500/1000Hz polling rate adjustments – without the need for any software drivers.

On the bottom?? So if i want to change sensitivity I have to flip it over? Sounds stupid to me! I'll stick with my G5 where i can just move a finger and change it without interrupting my gameplay.

PK!

No side buttons in this day and age?

I picked up a deathadder for £20 and that is miles better than this in terms of buttons and ergonomics though, it isn't L+R handed.

Hmm doesnt look all that special maybe for some uber desktop use, rather than gaming, me needs sidebuttons and doesnt look that special compared to the rest of their kit.

I think this is just a budget gaming mouse so it will probably be under £30 seeing as the diamondback 3g is going for cheaper and has more buttons.
