New Rig - Help & Suggestions

My Old computer is going to moved downstairs for my daughter more of a media centre, the only things I'm taking from are my Titan GFX, PSU and one SSD.

This is what I was thinking of getting:

  • Corsair Carbide 540 High Airflow ATX Cube Case - Arctic White
  • Asus Z97 Gryphon Armor - Devils Canyon Core i7 4790K CPU & Micro ATX Motherboard Bundle
  • Corsair Hydro H105 Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
  • Western Digital VelociRaptor 1TB 10000RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache
  • Corsair Vengeance Black 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-14900C9 1866MHz Dual Channel Kit
  • x 2 Corsair Air Series AF120 1500RPM LED Red Quiet Edition - Dual Pack

Wanting to get some RED Leds for the case, any suggestions?

Are you set on red + black? Personally I think it's a bit overdone

What Titan GPU do you have? Reference cooler? Also what size is the SSD you are reusing?

Are you willing to modify the case slightly because I think I have a cool idea if you can make it work? Thanks BM

That looks great, I think I might swap the White LEDs for Red, I want it more of a red glow inside :)

My GPU is:

Gigabyte GeForce GTX Titan 6144MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

My SSD is:

Samsung 250GB SSD 840 EVO SATA 6Gb/s Basic

Hmm
What I'd do is go for a red+black scheme on the components side then and put white LEDs in - this will highlight the red and black in the PC, and coloured LEDs often wash out the colours in a case, so white LEDs I think are better

Thanks BM
