Shivy, would it be worth dropping the 2TB HD and getting this instead?

That's up to you, personally I'd be going 2tb HDD and mx100 256gb/512gb
How much will you be storing? Media and files etc don't need to be on fast storage, so its nice to have a large HDD for all of this. This should be fast enough for media and photos, files etc

That's the thing for me, I don't really store that much. I have a 1TB in this computer now and it took me 3 years to get it over 500gb. This is going to be used for Gaming, Video streaming/editing.

Hmm, maybe go for a 1tb HDD and stay at that then. The 1tb ssds aren't too great value ATM and I seriously doubt you'll need 1tb of fast storage. The ssd you have will be enough for the streaming programs, editing programs+ games/applications. You might use that 1tb up on the HDD up quickly though with the editing, so personally I'd go 2tb HDD like suggested even though you might not use that much.

Ask in the cs forum, generally corsair stuff is quite quick to restock though iirc. Customer services should give you a date
