New rig!

Ok, i sold my aging AMD 3500+ rig keeping some reusable components and i want to build a C2D rig that will do for my photoshop + gaming needs. Basically i just need something that will work fine now that i could tweek a little when more money comes my way.

I have
7800GT (pcie)
DVD RW
Case + PSU
HDD - edit

What i was looking at was

C2D 6400
Geil value 2GB PC6400C5
Gigabyte DS3

That all comes to about £365, can anyone think of any better deals?

a 4300 or 6300 CPU, but otherwise that is what I would recommend. Don't forget an aftermarket HSF.

What is your PSU? Is it both ATX 2.0 compliant and a good brand? If not you might have to factor that in.

I sold my old PSU with my old case, i'd already settled getting the corsair PSU along with a new case so that's all sorted
