I have read the Asus RT-U56N is top class with Fibre :)

Tbh if you're asking that, like that, it doesn't matter. Asus use a lot of the tomato code in the official fw but they have a much, umm, friendlier gui.

Virgin user here
I have a D-Link DIR-855 and can highly recommend it. It does everything I need with many more virtual servers and port forwards allowable than most and in-built DDNS support, but may be overkill for you.
If you don't need so many bells and whistles, have a look at DD-WRT and get a router that will run it. You can get a cheap as chips Linksys or Buffalo and reflash it or more expensive box if you wish. Check the DD-WRT forums for advice and their supported device list for checking compatibility. If you already have your wifi sorted and despite the numbers of clients your setup sounds pretty non-hierarchical, £100 should be the very max you spend and you could get away with £50 easy.
And yes, it's a simple cable router/switch you need, not an ADSL box.

well the Asus RT-U56N came Monday morning ,it took about 5minutes to set up ,fastest i've ever set a router up and with all the port forwarding ,
do's not support NO-IP DDNS but its still sees my stuff and picks the ip addy up,so i can live with that,
wifi is a little better than most routers in my house but that not a problem, my wifi stuff connect to my separate wifi setup
,
the thing i did notice is the lag the superhub had is gone with this router and its maxing virgin out better in speed tests and web pages open faster ,
the 3g modem setting look cool and works ok ,so do's the ftp server ,but can i heck get the printer to work with it ,but again my nas runs then so it ok

so thanks for your help people again
