I’m thinking of replacing my 26” (may be 28”) Sony Bravia HD tv – I was thinking of getting an ~30” one, with 1080p, but I want the best picture possible for the size.
My Bravia is about a year old, and whilst it does have a good picture, I recently used a mate’s old LG (about 3 years old), that’s a 26” one and has an amazing picture – but I can’t find them for sale (I think the model was 26XE-LX or something), this has convinced me to try finding one with similar or better picture quality; plus the Bravia isn’t all that good as a PC monitor, as it suffers from very slight picture flicker.
I notice that OCUK have a great range of similar sized monitors, but are these any good for HD console gaming – what is the picture quality like, would it be better or worse?
Some thoughts and recommendations are appreciated.
