Hi,

I managed to source some quite rare seats for the MX5 last month. I have doorcards as well, but because they are from a Mk2.5 the fitment into a Mk2 isn't straight forward. I have swaped the center console over though.

Probably shouldn't have bought them though, as I now need some new tyres on my Euphonic Special edition wheels which will be about £350-£400. It's devloped rust in the usual places by the rear wheel arches, and last week the ABS light has decided to appear! Grrrrrr.

Anyway, they are half alcantara

When I offered the doors up the door handle appeared to be in a different postion. Offset by about 10mm tops. Also one of the fasteners needed moving down the door slightly, Is that what you found?

What was involved? I don't mind putting the effort in, it will look 100 times better.

I am also currently swapping my front end out for a Mk2.5. I have all the bits except bulbs now, so I just need to sort the wiring out.

This thread should have a "Shades required" warning.

Always wanted a Black car with red seats. They really aren't so bright in real life. Infact they look a lot better, they appear much darker in real life.

The handbrake is high, it needs adjusting again. 5 Clicks is all you are supposed to have, I have more like 12!
