New Server + Additionals on order

Just another update for all of you thats insterested....

Carried up the hardware upgrade on the Sonicwall 2040, and replaced it with one of the new 2400's. Settings transfered over ok, latest firmware uploaded etc etc. No hassle what so ever :)

Completed putting the Blade Center together as well, just waiting on the final 2nd CPU for one of the blades and the SAS Connectivity cards for the blades as well.

By the way, thats the external half height enclosure housing the LTO 4 SAS tape drive sat on top of the Blade Center Chassis.

I really wanna play with some blade hardware, we're quite hell bent on buying x3*50's when we need a server. But I guess it does make it look like we're a busy DC when we have racks and racks of hardware when we could virtualise\blade it up. :)
 
This how now been fully installed and has been running for a couple of weeks now.

Will get some more pics posted up today for those interested :)
