Just thought id show you guys a few pics of my new setup with my 55" LED TV which is amazing and gaming on it is unbeleivable! This is before i make the step up to another build coming soon i think.

Looks awesome! I want an led tv sooooooo bad lcd just dont cut it any more :( seriously tho one thing i must say what are you doing geordie56 still on windows vista! shocking!
 
your system matches your living room well :eek:

personally i would take a proper pc monitor over a tv every day of the week
i cant understand why people use televisions as computer screens, it makes no sense

whilst your equipment is really nice, personally i don't like the setup.

My grip with having things hanging from walls is the wires. i would only ever do it if the wires are hidden.

and your speakers are just huge :eek:
 
I never understood why people have a PC in their living room unless its a HTPC. I mean gaming on a sofa with a keyboard and mouse must be a right pain lol...

But each to there own
 
Firstly thanks for all the coments guys, just a few replies. The speakers dont look big in proportion to the room and they are Tannoy 6.1 theatre speakers so when rigged up with my Denon amp the sound is incredible and produces true cinema quality at True 6.1 DTS surround not just reproduced digital 5.1 and prologic etc. The screen is 55" RkOneil and full HD res, the graphics are amazing and the colours and contrast, can you name me a monitor, this nice, this thin and this price for a 55"? Im not sure where i got the shelves, ive had them a while now and ill see if i still have the invoice and let you know. The wires if you look are just temporary (all the dangling ones) the rest are chased in, im waiting on the correct wires all coming and i am setting up a full audio/video touchpad system through the house using all the eqip in the pics above aswell as toucpads in every room and 2 other HD boxes, and utilising the 42" plasma i have built flush into my bedroom wall. Lastly i am only on vista until my new build and ill be going onto 7. Thanks again guys.P.S its not noisy at all if you mean the pc, as it is watercooled all the fans are on low speed and virtually silent the air con i have is noisier and even thats quiet!
