Hello everyone :)

I have been waiting for this moment for a very very long time now and im only a few days off ordering. This is the setup I should be having, if there is anything that you would advise different, please say.

Things I have already brought:
4GB Crucial Ballistix 5300
X-Fi Xtreme Gamer
Kama Meter Fan controller

Now for the other stuff that I will be getting soon:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
Asus Commando
XFX/BFG/Leadtech - 8800GTX
Thermaltake 700w Cable management
Lite-ON 20x DVD-RW (getting this instead of samsung because I want the silver bezzel)
Zalman 9700 LED
2x NorthQ 120mm LED fan
Sharkoon 2x 12" Cathode tubes
2x Samsung SpinPoint T HD501LJ 500GB SATA-II
Artic Silver 5 CPU paste

possibly: Samsung SM-226BW 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor
All this will be going into a Thermaltake Shark (Silver) which I already have.

I will be overclocking everything. Is there anything that any of you would recommend different? I hope to play every game (hopefully Crysis) at max settings on either 1280x1024 or either 1650x1200.

I think that you will find that most people will tell you that the Asus Commando is somewhat over priced for what you get.

Boards to look at include the Gigabyte DS3P and the Asus P5NE SLI.

Agreed, the motherboard isnt such a problem as I can get it much cheeper from somewhere else.

This is just from personal experience.

Lots of lights become boring after 2 weeks. I know it may seem like a amazing idea right now. My PC is light up like a christmas tree when tis all plugged in. I take out all the lights though because they are distracting, annoying and give me a headache. I'm sure anyone else who has gone through the flashy lights phase will tell you also :)

Agree with the DS3P too, or the P5N32.

If I was you ( if i understand correctly ) you have 4x1gb of the Ballistix PC5300? Sell 2 of them and save for the screen :).

As an afterthought, any reason your not getting a Noctua for the extra few deg when overclocking. Better than the Zalman i beleive.

Nice spec :)

Im getting the Zalman not just because its a good CPU cooler but I think It looks great too and Im looking for a bit of bling :p As for getting bored of lights, Ive got one 120mm LED fan and I love it, had it for over 1 year now and im not board of it :D

*slaps forehead* Fair enough. I have no idea how they compare but I would think that the Noctua would be recommended over a Flower especially seeing as you are ocing.
