A £300 sofabed is going to be junk imho.
Yeah your probably right, would have to be lucky with an ex-display or second hand for a £300 sofa bed I guess.

Ebay or Gumtree is your best bet with that budget.

check local auction house listings and see if any are doing clearance of liquidated stock. there are sadly plenty of family run busineses closing down and stuff can be had quite cheap. was at one recently and while i didn't buy anything some of the stuff being auctioned off went for crazily low prices

we went in for a klippan sofa ages ago and enfed up coming home with a sofa bed, not one of these folder material things either. Proper mechanical thing, only dowside was the weight, I swear if it falls on someone theyll be ******
It's been use regularly since buyin it and other than the covers looking a little faded it's still in great nick and the mechanical side of it is still working fine.
I don't think we paid anywhere near £300 for it probably around £130 can't really remember

On a serious note my brother is giving away an armchair if you want it.What? £300 is fine for a sofa bed. Spend a bit more and you'll get a very contemporary one from the likes of Dwell. I wouldn't have said it was suitable for a living room mind, maybe a spare room.

We have a £1,200 M&S sofa bed which is used in the games room, it's fine for sitting on but not so good as a bed when used for more than a few days.
We sat on load before selecting this one, i can only imagine a £300 sofabed to be less than ideal, particually if you want A. a good nights sleep and B. use it for more than one night in a row.
