new speakers....multiple inputs

looking for some new speakers for pc and xbox360 (multiple inputs basically), got a Dell Ultra Sharp 2005fpw using dvi for pc and gonna get a vga for 360 (will prob get extra monitor for 360 at a later date)

my old creative inspire 5500 digital had an amp with optical and coaxial aswell as standard connections

looking for similar, why this model aint out anymore god knows as it was awesome

anyone got any suggestions?

Man i loved the Creative Inspire 5500, with the decoder that provided Line in (Ipod) Optical (For Xbox360) and Coax (for PC). Great value too..

However, when i upgraded i wanted the same.. just a bit better. Seems Creative split it up a bit so i had to buy http://www.creative.com/products/product.asp?category=4&subcategory=136&product=9468 and then get a normal set of surround sound speakers from creative.

Brilliant little box, Im sure there are other manufacturers that do similar out there though.

hmmm cant really see anything that suits me, will have to search for a used/new 5500 setup somewhere (as the black/silver would compliment pc nicely lol)

It's a shame that item isn't stocked at overclockers... (Got the gigaworks S750 connected to my gaming rig but havn't been able to connect anything else to them)
