ty for looking

Hi there, Welcome etc.

WOW is my first thoughts at the spec and the price, can i ask a few simple questions before I go any further?

1) Can you build a PC yourself?

2) Do you have that sort of money to spend, or would saving around £1K - 1.5K be at all useful to you?

This is an OcUK Build? It's a monster rig all right. The power supply seems over-specced, and SLI 580 seems OTT, although you have a 24'' 3D monitor in there (but no NVidia 3D glasses?).

It seems expensive, just wondering how much it would cost self-build, but the specs are really high overall.

Hello there sir

As in wow Bad or Wow to much money ??

I just want a decent enough machine that will last a few years with not much to change

It's a very good system, albeit incredibly expensive. Do you think you could build it yourself? If so, you'd save a lot of money.

I'd also advise dropping the sound card (you don't need one for gaming, onboard is great now), dropping the BluRay drive (you'd need to buy expensive software for the drive to work, so you may as well get a normal DVD drive, and a separate BluRay player) and dropping the overclock (a 15% increase is pitiful on an i7 2600K- they can easily do twice that. Max OC, or do it yourself- it's easy now).

I would also switch the i7 with an i5 (better for gaming), and drop the graphics a bit, unless you must have full 120Hz with max settings on every game.

WOW as in monster spec and price.

put some questions up for you too.

I really dont think i could build it , i am a bit bull in a china shop to be honest , and for the money i really dont /wouldnt want to mess it up

yup was going to go to 3k as like i said i dont want to be changing much in the near future,as they gotta bite the bullet sometime.

OK.

So a pre-built PC will be perfect for you.

This prebuilt should be just the business for you.

An i5 2500K overclocked to 4.6GHz, you can select upgrades to give it Win7 HP, 8 gigs of RAM (it's only an extra £26, why not), a GTX 580 and a 120GB SSD. It also has the H50 water cooler and a Z68 board.

Buy a SM2233RZ to go with it, and you're set for under £1600, for a faster CPU (after clocking) and near identical graphics.

These are reviews of the DELL screen

As you can see its about as good as it gets.

The "Ultima Mosasaur" includes the latest Z68 chipset motherboard, and will allow you to add a second ATI 6950 GPU later on for a Crossfire setup,

giving this sort of boost - http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/299?vs=293

• It has the fastest i7 2600K CPU @ 4.6GHZ

• 8GB of RAM, thats a huge amount

• H70 water cooler!!

• 1TB HDD

ty stulid looking at the links now but would prefer gtx580 over ati.

You can talk to the sales team who will be more than happy to swap it over for you, they have mentioned in the past, that anythings possible really.

You would want a good 850w+ PSU ( such as Corsair, XFX) for a twin SLI GTX580 setup if you ever decide to go that route in the future.
