New SSD but unsure....

Hi all, just installed my new SSD intel 330 120gb got the OS and apps installed on it, but Im not sure if my boot timers should be faster than they are. I just did a cold boot and it took 46 seconds. Im using Win7 64bit. Gone through a few optimization steps, left indexing on, cut page file down to 1024mb.

Just wondered if this seems slow for a bootup?

did you set the sata ports to ahci in the bios before you installed windows?

i set the sata port to AHCI connected to SSD but not my HDD
