SSD is a Samsung 840 Series 500GB.

On the back of the box it claims;
Sequential Read: 540MB/s
Sequential Write: 330MB/s
Random IOPS Read: 98,000
Random IOPS Write: 70,000

Clearly the above scores are well below what it's claimed to have. Any suggestions, or should I return it?

what motherboard are you using? seemsliek its running sata2 speeds

make sure your plugged into sata3 ports

**** !! Haha, how noob of me!

The 4 SATA Ports I thought were 6GB/s turned out to be 3GB/s.
