Hi guys been a while, my project R3E is on hold atm, as i need to re-house my main pc to a new Codemaster 690II case, at the same time i got myself a Intel X25-V sata SSD 40GB, now here my question, is there anyway to check if my SSD drive needed firmwares update? where can i check, and how to do the update on a new build (ie: no window installed, everything new) i also need to check this on my Crucial RealSSD C300 128GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s SSD for my project R3E as well, so any advices will be very grateful, Thank

Regards
Tony

Project R3E hopefully restarting soon....

PS: the title should have been "New SSD need firmwares update?"

The firmware revision is printed on the label of intel drives on the front. Was on my x25mg2.

This firmware update tool provides the latest firmware for the following Intel SSDs in all capacities:
- Intel® X25-M/X18-M SATA SSD on 50nm (black case) - updates to FW version 8820
- Intel® X25-E SATA SSD on 50nm (black case) - updates to FW version 8850
- Intel® X25-M/X18-M SATA SSD on 34nm (silver case) - updates to FW version 02HD
- Intel® X25-V Value SATA SSD on 34nm (silver case) - updates to FW version 02HD

Hope this helps.
