New SSD - What to get

My first SSD for christmas

. Had my eye on the Crucial MX100 for a while and was gonna buy the 512mg one if it pops onto the TWO or daily deal. Now the new Samsung 256GB SSD 850 PRO SATA 6Gbps 3D NAND Solid State Drive pops outta no where with 4k random writes at 100k and a 10 year warranty.
I was gonna use it as a boot drive and games drive for my steam games, i do play a lot of skyrim etc but just download what i fancy playing and deleting what i get bored with.
So should i get the new 256GB 3D NAND SSD or spend another 20 notes and get the 512GB MX100

get the 512gb mx100. capacity is king.
you won't notice the increased speeds of the 850 unless you're constantly hammering your ssd with server-like loads

+1 on the mx100. You will not notice the difference in speed but you get more capacity
