New SSD

Hi all like the title say i need a new SSD drive my motherboard is
Gigabyte MA 790 XT-UD4P Motherboard
I have been using an ocz vertex 120 gb i think its ready to die so need to upgrade asap.
Problem is there is so much choice now and could do with some help selecting the right ssd i would rather have a reliable drive than having the fastest but still want it fast.

I have a Cruical M4 which has so far been reliable.

Many recommend having a look at Cruical SSDs or Samsung.

Can't go wrong with either Crucial or Samsung SSD's

I was also very happy with my M4, I recently bought another larger M4.

This thread is perfect for me. I just had a 128GB Vertex 2 die on me and just finished installing Windows on an old IDE drive as a fix.

The M4 looks like a good price and historically its manufacturer has delivered to me in under 12 hours even with regular shipping, so it seems perfect for a quick fix.

I just noticed that the Samsung 840 Pro on the river isn't much more than the M4.

Samsung 840 pro would be my suggestion, lightning quick and so far so good on the reliability unlike the 3 OCZ's I've had.

yeah wish i they would drop. im gonna just get another 128gig for my games drive. waiting to see if ocuk have any on offer tomorrow

See if you can find a deal on a 256GB drive, they fill up quicker than you think!
