Don't forget that you can speed-up your downloads by changing your 'Location' to 'Ireland' in the Steam Options.

It worked for me during the last set of sales! I think that because there is no download server in Ireland, it just picks the fastest one it can find instead. You can guarantee that the UK servers will be crawling like last time.

... and you can always put it back to UK afterwards if you want.

That's what happened to me! I got a 320GB external for back up! After getting GTA, ME and the Eidos pack.

Went for it - only issue now is finding space for it inside my case

Will copy my whole steam folder over to it and leave it as my Steam drive!

Yes, it's a title which keeps cropping up in recommendation threads, so I've finally decided to try it. There are some more titles I'd like to pick up, but I'm going to wait and see what the 'today only' deals throw up between now and Jan 4th. Some cheap titles may get even cheaper.

EDIT: Seems some people are able to get it. That is weird. It is showing it up as £3.24 so it can't be thinking I am outside the UK! Grrrr.

lol just tried my download of GTA4 and got the message telling me the Steam servers are too busy and to try again later!

Also 8 hours at 512K download rate! So that's about 9 hours for me then.

Did you try changing your download region ?, not sure how to do it but I here others doing it and saying that it can help a lot.

Loved that game.

Yeah, seem to remember it being called Farenheit when it was released over here. For that price anyone who likes adventure games should give it a punt.
There were a few ideas that didnt pan out so well and the sex scene was a bit odd but the game was original, inventive and unique and well worth a look.
