I've just put a new 500GB hard drive in a machine just as a storage drive with some music&movies on but when I now boot the pc up it gets to the windows loading bar and then just hangs.
Theres a 80GB sata boot drive in there and a 160GB sata data drive at the minute
The pc boots fine with both the 80 and 160GB drives connected and with just the 80GB drive. But when I put the new 500GB drive in with the 80GB it won't start up properly.
I have also tried just connecting the power to the 500GB and waiting until in windows to connect the sata cable but then it locks up straight away.
The thing is the drive works fine on my main pc when I have it plugged into my esata hard drive dock as this is how ive copied all the files to it.
Any ideas how I can get the drive to work with my media pc?
