10.1 TFT-LED Panel

brightness: 200cd/m2
aspect ration: 16:9
response time: 8ms

Hi, everyone, how do you think about this style? Could it be as secondary screen of the laptop?

Wouldn't it make more sense if they are USB3? Surely USB2 doesn't have enough bandwidth for 1024*600@60fps?

In terms of graphical power, where would it be coming from? As it wouldn't be connected to any graphics, just plain usb so that may be a problem

I believe the system uses the CPU and software to emulate the graphics card, so it would be only good for basic operation like web browsing and email, or possibly slideshows. Gaming on it would be a no no.

Just imagine a much larger version of the screen on the Logitech G19 keyboard. That supports low res video.

I use a usb to vga graphics adapter daily at work for my second screen. It handles 1280*1024 @ 60hz with no problems. For office tasks ie remote desktop work, e-mail, web browsing, its almost no different to my monitor connected over dvi.

Only time I really notice is if I grab a window and spin it round and round where you get noticeable tearing. It is useless for any kind of full screen video though.
