New syndicate game? (Project Redlime)

Anyone seen anything on this? Syndicate is probably one of the best games of the 16 bit era (played to death on an Amiga back in the day).

Is a bit on it. Currently being worked on by Starbreeze Studio's for EA under the working title Project Redlime.

Mildly illegal i know but I found a very good copy of syndicate that plays nice with dosbox. I've actually found it still rather entertaining to play.

and for:

I never really played the original games (too busy playing CIV and XCOM), anyone care to explain what was so good about them?

Think xcom, make it realtime rather than turn based when you're "in combat" and you have Syndicate. Add lots of random civilians and a VERY good variety of missions (not just "go kill the aliens you shot down") and you're pretty much there.
