would change the Zalman CNPS9700-LED Aero Flower for the beast of a cooler called Tuniq Tower 120 CPU Cooler :)

Cheaper and better

you might also want to think about changing your motherboard for either a Abit IP35 Pro or Gigabyte GA_P35C_DS3R as people are not noticing much of a difference between the P35 and X38 chipsets

also what an aweful case, the Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case is a great case and is discounted this week... but thats personal perference I guess...

Thanks for your feedback Stelly, but think i will stick with my original spec.

  • I know the Tuniq Tower is supposed to be better but it's just a bit too big and heavy for my liking. Besides the zalman is pretty.
  • I'm getting the x38 for pci 2. I'll probably keep the board for a 3+ years and want to have the option of upgrading to latest graphics card. Got stuck for AGP upgrades on my current pc.
  • ummm, the lexa is a bit plasticy. But I really like the internal layout and the external look does appeal to me. I need quick and easy access to the HD's.

Fair enough... looks a good spec, other than what I have just put go for it... I have used the Tuniq Tower on about 5 systems with no problem, the only problem I do have is installing the damn thing, but its pretty cool... Zalman pretty... whatever floats your boat ;)

Antec Sonata III Piano Black Quiet Case + EarthWatts 500W PSU

thats a £93 saving, on the corsair.

swap the geil for two sets of OCZ (2 x 1GB) PC2-6400C4 Dual Channel Platinum Revision 2 XTC Series DDR2 to take advantage of vista x64 extra RAM capability.

you know you want more RAM:p
