Looking to replace my 5 year old shuttle PC which has started to go on the blink after years of trusty service.

So far I'm thinking along the lines of:

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-016-OP
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-101-AN

No plans of overclocking/gaming so presume the stock cooler included in the bundle should be fine?

Anyone able to confirm if my old PNY GeForce 6 6600GT PCI-E Graphics card is compatible with the board, or if there's even any point being that the onboard graphics may well have caught up with my 5 year old card?

Will just re-use my HDD and other drives so I think that just leaves the choice of a PSU then, something along these lines perhaps??

Any comments/suggestions appreciated, anything I've missed out/forgotten about?

Thanks in advance.

The stock fan will be fine for your uses.
The case is a solid choice and numerous users will confirm this.

The card will be compatible as it is PCI-E but as to its capabality I would not be able to comment sorry.

Sapphires are decent PSU's, as above.

Cheers for the advice folks, sapphire PSU looks the better option as suggested.

Toss up between going the self build root at the min or going for the simple no fuss Dell factory outlet option, see few Vostro 430s available at the minute with similar spec as the self build....

What are your uses? Other than not OCing or gaming?
For prebuilt you could get somethign along the lines of this, or maybe even less
I suspect modern onboard gfx has surpassed your old 6600

Dell box came in at about £415 all in. Uses a i5-750 processor and 1333MHz DDR3 Single Channel though so slightly lesser spec there. Does however come with a 160GB HDD though.

Self build with components above comes in around £388 + delivery (circa £20) so not much price difference.

Main "resource intensive" usage will be a bit of home software development: JBoss, MySQL etc. Other than that just regular media playback and browsing etc.

Just noticed the PSU is out of stock with no ETA, see it's listed as £56.99 too.

Haven't missed anything else have I that'll bump the self build price up:

Case: Antec 300
Motherboard Bundle: Intel Core i5 760 - 4GB DDR3 1600MHz - Intel H55 Motherboard
Graphics: On board should be fine
PSU: Sapphire Pure 625W (hopefully if it's back in stock)
Drives: Already have

Cables? Wonder if they're included with the MB or maybe able to use the ones from my shuttle.

Thanks for the suggestions, not to bothered about PSU being non-modular so CX430/CX500 would do the trick, save a few more pennies too ;)

Cables are all in with MB.
