It's been nearly a decade since my last system build and so it's time for a new one. 10 years is a long time to be out of the game so I'm appealing for your help!
I'm pretty set on the i5 6600k cpu as I think it gives the best bang for buck. However, I can't decide on motherboard. Is the Z170 chipset the best for the intel processors? What are your opinions on the best motherboard (s) for around £150-180?
I mainly do a lot of photoshop/lightroom and occasional gaming but regardless of my needs I always like to have the fastest I can afford.
Also, I assume being ATX means my 10yr old 550w Enermax PSU will be compatible?? It's currently powering an Geforce 7800GT SLI rig.
